🌮🤤 we’re back with another Takeout Fakeout, this time an easy-to-digest version of this OG fast food favorite! we replaced all of the dairy ingredients with @lactaid products, allowing you and your family to enjoy it even for those who are lactose-sensitive! save this post to try it yourself and send to a friend who’ll love it too!🫶🏼 here’s how to make it: cook 1 pound of ground meat with taco seasoning of choice, then scoop some onto a large flour tortilla (I used a high fiber/high protein option to increase the nutrient density). top with queso*, a tostada shell, sour cream, diced tomatoes, and shredded iceburg lettuce. fold up the edges and heat in a pan over medium until browned on both sides. serve and enjoy! *for the homemade queso, i blended 3 cups cottage cheese with 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup taco seasoning (feel free to adjust portions to reach the flavor/texture you desire!) enjoy!! 🌯 #ad #Lactaid_Partner #takeoutfakeout #dinnerideas #familyfriendlyfood

First, prepare the homemade queso: Blend 3 cups of cottage cheese with 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup taco seasoning until smooth. Adjust portions to reach desired flavor and texture. Next, cook 1 pound of ground meat with your taco seasoning of choice. Once cooked, scoop some of the seasoned ground meat onto a large flour tortilla. Top the meat with queso, a tostada shell, sour cream, diced tomatoes, and shredded iceberg lettuce. Carefully fold up the edges of the tortilla. Heat the folded taco in a pan over medium heat until browned on both sides. Serve immediately and enjoy!
