What you need

tsp salt
lemon

bunch thyme

tbsp salted butter

chicken pieces

head garlic
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Sprinkle salt and pepper the inside of the chicken and stuff with the thyme or rosemary, lemon, and garlic. Brush the outside of the chicken with melted butter and lightly coat with salt and pepper. Using twine or unflavored dental floss (our go-to when we don't have twine 😄), tie the legs together and tuck the end of the wings under the chicken to prevent them from getting too dried out. Place on a roasting pan and cook for 1.5 hours, or until temp reaches 165. Let sit, covered, for 10-20 minutes before cutting. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!View original recipe
